Besides possibly DePaul, X might not win a game on the road based on what we saw last night. We only played one true road game before last night and most of our players looked like deer in the the headlights.

Well, it was their first BE road game. Did you expect them to be seasoned veterans in 10 non-conference games? OR don't listen or believe Sean's prediction. I am not going to be a pro or anti-Miller guy, but I do think this team has improved in some areas and needs to work on others. I am sure if X loses all their conference games, the fire Miller troops will be out. it is the DNA of some fans
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

I am a very Pro Sean Miller guy I think most know that. I am objective and you seem to take that as negative, which it is not. Losing Free and Hunter our two best players was a big blow as well as losing other potential players to NIL. The talent, toughness, and shooting is missing from this group. This team did not show signs of improvement last night and that is against a middle of the road team. I would love to see improvement, but I just can't imagine this group winning road games.

I love X and Sean Miller. Will support and cheer for X to win...but. Keeping it short. X does not have enough scoring potential to be a threat. This team turns the ball over too many times each game. Cannot have high turnovers when X cannot score well. I see X finishing near the bottom of the BE in the regular season and an early out in the BE tournament and without a minimum of 18 to 20 wins. The season is over after the BE tournament. Will hope for a better next season, but will need some better and new players. Need 2 to 3 scorers and a great point guard.

Losing all remaining BE games would be painful but I'd still not look for a new coach. It would signal to me that Miller can't adapt style and strategy but I wouldn't want him replaced until after he has had a chance to build his team. This year involves too many last minute emergency type signings to be considered a Miller team, not to mention giving players the chance to develop over a few seasons.

After a rough first game, the team is still on track for the consensus 9ish conference wins.

I'm never against picking up a quality PG but that is not a need for next year. Trey will be the PG X needs. Someone will have to be available to get him rest but the starting spot is filled. Team certainly needs shooters/scorers for next year. Replacing Olivari is going to be difficult. Having an additional shooter beyond his replacement would be wise.

So far it is a fun and frustrating season. Jan 3 should tell us more. Team has to play with energy or it will be another ugly game. Bring the defensive intensity, move the ball on offense and limit careless turnovers and it will be a fun game to watch.
