R.I.P. Jim Higgins

I am sure I attended the game and had a few beers. My memory of the game is at best vague. I remeber X people were to be out of town 30 minutes after the game. Another thing that I know is accurate, is Terry *****, who transfer to X to play football, was sick as a dog and could not play. Biles asked him to play a few downs to takeout a certain Miami player. It took only 2 plays for Fritz to get kicked out of the game but the Miami guy also was out for the rest of the game.

Both Fritz and I returned to Detroit and worked at the Strohs while taking graduate courses. Fritz's limited action in the Miami game became his major football war story.

Owl,
One other memory of the Miami game was that the Redskins missed a long, long field goal to end the game after a wild 200 second drive after our 2 point conversion.
