Obviously the AD is very in tune with the feeling of the fans. The program took a huge drop under Steele.Now Christopher has to make the right pick to get us back to where we were.The question is why today after you accept and played in the NIT? Do they have someone they need to move on now?

I am hearing that Sean Miller was planning on accepting the South Carolina job this afternoon. Xavier got wind, made the quick move they had to make in order to make a run at Miller. YES, he's on campus! Hopefully accepting the job!!

Just hope he is not trying to play the two schools against each other but I heard the same thing. I hope it does get X off the pot and make the decision and we can focus on Sean for a lot of years to come. The deal isn't done till the paperwork is finished.

Mille was my fave coach at X. The Lexus comments never bothered me a bit like most. The analogy wasn't inappropriate but hurt because it was us. Miller also never raided the cabinet of X players when he went to Zona. Matta probably said similar things about Butler when he came to X. It was so hard for Miller to leave X for a top 10 job and millions more, and we were still in the A-10! He would be my first choice, but only if he has been completely cleared, and if X had very stringent clauses in his contract.

I hope the recruits and current players can be retained, but this was a move that had to be made. I suspect Christopher got ***** from some key players in some way, not directly. I also suspect he has been speaking behind the scenes to some candidates. This will be a true test to see how effective he truly is.

i'm on the Miller bandwagon as well, but ONLY and IF ONLY there is nothing that can be brought down sanction-wise onto the X program. that's the only way X can even take a look at him. otherwise, move on. Lexus comment never bothered me. we are Xavier in the A-10 and they were Arizona. and still are. he was honest. and he was right.

According to a source to me, Miller was contacted immediately b/c an SEC school zeroed in on him. On campus today.
