This is brilliant! What do you think are the chances of it happening?Xavier2005 wrote: ↑Sat Mar 13, 2021 2:51 pmNooooo. Per the rules , all replacements are put in before the end of Tuesday night...before they start play on Thursday. After Tuesday night there are no replacements ..just games Forfeited due to the Virus. So Xavier is placed in the field of 68 before Tuesday night. Then Xavier wins 4 or 5 games straight by forfeit /due to those teams getting the Virus and POOF Xavier is declared National Champions without playing a single game. LOL

And to rub it in and to add to the pain, the team across town will be dancing when they win tomorrow.

The only way Travis is going to dance is if he goes on Dancing With The Stars. A little humor needed with a painful Selection Sunday Show coming up tomorrow. Hopefully a year from now it will be better but I doubt it unless changes are made
An soon.

I don't think they'll get by Houston but game 3 in 3 days anything can happen as we've seen before. That said, Brannen has done a really good job with those young players. If anything he's gotten them great experience with a run in a tourney and the minutes the frosh are playing. He's an interesting coach as he doesn't waiver a lot in his approach, and by season's end they look to have bought in. They play with a lot of confidence for true frosh. The Madsen kid looks to have been under recruited relative to his brother. He's got an edge, and a nice stroke. My guess is he's going to be a pretty solid scorer for four more years. GT is in with the win over FSU. Another border team sealed the deal.oldhoopster wrote: ↑Sat Mar 13, 2021 9:38 pmAnd to rub it in and to add to the pain, the team across town will be dancing when they win tomorrow.

How did that game go, Oldhoopster?oldhoopster wrote: ↑Sat Mar 13, 2021 9:38 pmAnd to rub it in and to add to the pain, the team across town will be dancing when they win tomorrow.
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

Didn't even know. I assume they lost by your response. I didn't even know who they were playing. Don't follow them. Just thought that would be the pain to end all this year. Sad couple of years by the X men. Hopefully changes are made sooner rather than later. The road back gets tougher each year.
