The last couple minutes Freemantle was gassed. Steele is going to have to keep his bigs fresh. Stanley would have helped. Our coaching and decision making was really poor at the end of the game. We also went 16 possessions with one basket. You would think we would find a way to run a play for an easy bucket or at least call a timeout.

X had 12 t.o.s and only 12 assists against a team who primarily played zone. This is what one often sees in AAU games.

Hops i saw the same thing with Freemantle. He was gassed in the last 10 minutes. It's hard to imagine in the possession at the one minute mark with a one point lead Scruggs launches a bomb without getting the ball into him, but maybe he was just to tired to deal. He's got to touch the ball down the stretch in key situations, particularly when they play better deeper teams. It's hard to fathom he plays 35 minutes and doesn't shoot a ft, but with 12/12 as AH points out, the offense isn't really making the other team work.

I think asking Freemantle to carry the offensive load and also guard the other teams big man and best offensive player almost the whole game was asking too much of him. I think Miles needs to be worked into the lineup more with his athletic ability and shot blocking ability around the basket.
