X had a two for one opportunity, as DePaul hit the three with 48 seconds left. Marshall walks the ball up the floor like they're up by 10. It's great Free made a shot, but he could very easily have made it. Even so, perhaps he could have shot the three five seconds earlier, and X would have had a final shot. The play should have been to push it up the floor, explore the opportunity for a quick two, and if nothing is open, run the offense. Oh well, not surprised.

X being 6.5 point favorites tells me Reed isn't playing. Chitown, any intel on that? Obviously, a win imo is absolutely necessary to sneak into the field. Hopefully, Scruggs plays.

DePaul has fallen so far off the Chicago media radar, I would not have known anyway. Very little coverage on the Blue Demons lately. From what I see, Paul Reed playing and Paul Scruggs’ absence one of the major differences in this game.
