A “very good point guard “. What part of his game has been very good? Poor shooting in all areas. More to’s than assists. Maybe he will improve but hasn’t had a significant game to date and has had a disciplinary suspension. I have heard what this was about but just a rumor so not fodder for this board. Last year Golden had some problems but his assist to t/o ratio was just less than 2:1which was not great. Some may say I am a “Debbie Downer”. However I will say Naji is a great upscale surprise. He could be a two and done.
I don't see him ever being the focal point of the offense, but neither is Goodin, and he is a very good point guard and complementary scorer. Churchill showed nothing, unfortunately. I think we'll see a jump in Scrugg's play as the year goes on.
