Maybe I am missing something (it happens a lot to me), but it would seem that all legal issues and their possible results need to be cleared up before Xavier would reinstate him. To my knowledge that has yet to happen and I haven't heard that conclusions are likely to occur soon. Ergo, early January play time seems to be a little too optimistic.
