Bob Knight's thoughts on conference tourneys

Postby muncie6569 » Sat Mar 15, 2008 11:51 am

Bob Knight's thoguhts on conference tourney losses for teams that are locks was interesting. He said that a loss is not so bad in the tourney. The rest may be more important that a drop in seed.

Bob Knight was just saying that seeding across the 1-5 is overrated and that those teams are all playing basically the same caliber teams in the 1st couple rounds. Seeding is more for team and fan egos.
I believe we will get a 3 or 4 seed and then just go play X!

I was thinking that last night that with a team like X, Bobby could be right. What is the most important thing for X right now...a completely healthy Drew. The extra 24 or so hours might mean the difference in a 85 to a 90% or a 95 to 98% Drew.

When Drew is on top of his game everyone plays better and when one or two guys are having trouble he finds the hot hand.

I
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.
