My vote would have to go to "TEAM XAVIER".
Obviously I'm biased, but the voters can't discount the success Xavier has had this season because of their style of play. They share the ball and everyone knows that the win is more important than individual success.
Has the A-10 ever given out the MVP to a team?

Re: League MVP
I don't think any conference ever did that simply because it is a vote by media/coaches/players and that would require quite a great deal of lobbying.
Xavier, for years, did not have an MVP because Skip said it is a "team" game. They did however, name Sr Rose MVP one year.
I found it funny yesterday that Roberts was mentioned as the leading candidate for MVP ... and the UD people keep hammering that .... but there is NO WAY.
Assists, clutch shooting at FT, three point range, leadership, and the best D perhaps in the country should see that award go to Stan!

Re: League MVP
First of all, I think the A-10 awards a "Player of the Year" not an MVP. I realize this may just be a matter of semantics, but they are not going to award Xavier's team a "Player of the Year" award - it doesn't make sense.
Roberts is a pretty good player, don't get me wrong, but his team has been so bad in league play, could he possibly be named "Player of the Year"? Don't you have to lead your team to something? Like say, a winning record?

Re: League MVP
Unless something changes radically in the last two weeks, the league MVP should go to Roberts, Christmas or Calathes. Xavier just doesn't have a viable candidate, though you could make a good case for Duncan being first team.
