I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

UD is proof that the rpi isn't perfect. The wins over Louisville and Pitt are carrying them but will only take them so far.You can't have a losing record in the A10.Tomorrow is their season.Let's put an emphatic end to it.

between the writer tom archdeacon (orange county choppers?) and the comments to the article, the flyers' program was pretty well carved up and advised to start practice for next year..muskieman wrote:http://www.daytondailynews.com/o/conten ... ghthearch/

Re: dayton flyers: RPI to R.I.P.?
while losing Wright hurt, it showed just how little talent there is on UD (except for Roberts). But when you steal players from IUPUI, High Point, Jacksonville (the college not the NFL team), Evansville, Oakland (the college not the baseball team) and Bowling Green, that's to be expected. Other than Wright and Roberts, there isn't one UD player who would be on Xavier's roster as a scholarship player.
Assuming UD doesn't make it to the tourney this year, what happens to Gregory? My guess is that the season will written off due to injuries. And UD actually has a recruit or two coming in next year that may have some talent. One even got an offer from Xavier, which is the highest honor given to a UD player. But let's not forget that these new recruits will still be surrounded by the rest of those mediocre players.
