OT: A nice feature of this board

This has probably been mentioned a number of times in the past, but I haven't seen it here. One of the really convenient things about this board is the fact that there is a link back to the main listing of threads at both the top and bottom of the page. On other boards, there is only a link at the top and this makes you either go back to the top of the page to click that link or do a number of "LEFT ARROW" clicks to wade through early pages of a thread to return to the thread-listing page.

The one feature that would be nice to have added (besides the ability to have avatars) would be to have threads' titles reduced from bold to regular after returning from them to the thread-list page. When you're 103 or so like I am with the memory retention span of a housefly, it would be nice to know which threads you have already read and which have new posts that you haven't yet read.

Perhaps these types of additional features require a greater investment of time and money. Maybe that would be all the more reason to give posters the option of becoming supporting members (regular, premium, or lifetime) similar to what the A-10 Board does. I am sure there's not a great deal of interest in parting with one's money either as a "thank-you" to those who have taken the trouble to provide this forum or as a method for this board to have a few additional amenities. But I am equally sure that a decent number of posters and readers would ante up for just such causes.
