Mario Chalmers that is, lionel's cousin from Alaska. Chalmers made a clutch 3 towards the end but missed a last second three point attempt at the buzzer giving Texas the win over the Jayhawks. It would have been nice if Texas would've lost giving a little more room in the rankings for X to possibly slide into the top 10.
Rivals listed Mario Chalmers as a five star recruit and the number 2 PG from the 2005 class. Does anyone know if Xavier ever recruited this kid? It's irrelivant at this point of course, but I'm just curious.

Re: Chalmers on ESPN tonight
I have no idea if Xavier recruited Chalmers.
However, I doubt a Texas loss by 3 or so to Kansas would have knocked them out of the top 10, or at least not far enough for XU to move up past them.
I personally enjoyed Kansas losing, because I dislike Kansas very much!

Well, you're probably right about that. At least this win gives Kansas State the best conference record in the Big 12 at this point.

What's the deal with 2 new posters with names starting with "double" talking to each other in a post?
Multiple personalities, or strange conincidence?
I don't think the Chalmers' are related. Pretty sure they aren't.

According to Mario's bio on the KU website, they are cousins:mhettel wrote:I don't think the Chalmers' are related. Pretty sure they aren't.
