Jones returning is huge. He is so versatile as has been said. He has a high IQ but I'd suggest he and the team is better off with him not playing especially aggressive offensively. What makes Jones great is that he makes good decisions. Taking unnecessary 3s or forcing the action is decreasing efficiency. I expect him to revert back to playing high IQ basketball but also expect the entire team to make better choices. Playing efficiently will generate far more wins than what X experienced last year against quality opponents.
Completely agree that Jones was the primary get for returning talent. Nunge is also huge but the time left at X makes Jones more important. Odom would be the next most important but unfortunately that didn't work out.
Getting 2 of the recruits to stay is also big. Miller is generally keeping the team together as I expected. Surprised by Odom but as I mentioned in other posts, not necessarily a terrible decision for Odom when you consider his high basketball IQ. If you don't need the instruction, you can sleep through class or in this case transfer.
