There have been many NBA players with limited shooting ability. Jason Kidd had no shot for many years. Odom is another level of bad shooting but he does so many things so well. He has a very high basketball IQ.
I'd be shocked if Miller didn't want him.
I wish nothing but the best for Odom. Wish he stayed but I trust Miller will get the team playing at a high level.
Having no experienced PG is a big obstacle to overcome so if that status doesn't change, it may take some time to get the team playing at a high level. Possibly a point forward situation or maybe a freshman leading the team. There is a lot of returning talent but finding a PG is essential to playing at a high level. Might take a year if that guy isn't on the roster at the start of the season but if Miller finds anyone on the roster that can bring the ball up with minimal turnovers, it will be a good year.
