Congrats to all the players. It has to be tough playing in the NIT against a crappy team. I was hard on Scrugg's play and rightfully so, but he played a solid second half with no more turnovers and went 6-6 at the line. The fact that his playing time isn't predicated on how well or poorly he plays isn't his fault.

Miles has another donut even though CSU somehow found time for 6'6" 350 lb center who wouldn't start on St. X's team. Meanwhile, Christopher was grinning ear to ear when he left Cintas, as someone with a pulled-down brimmed hat, and Groucho Marx sunglasses and a mustache gave him a salty pretzel and orange Fanta. The guy's shirt said Coach's FIL, whatever that means. Down to the SW 16. I'll be tossing and turning tonight.

BTW, X-Luc, parlayed the over 78 with Colorado -3.5. 2nd leg of bet not looking good now. The true meaning of March Madness.

Travis Steele is an ASS!. Ben Stanley, who came here instead of offers from great programs with real ADs and coaches like Illinois, because he bought Steele's used car salesman pitch (no disrespect intended) only to have his career derailed since Steal values players who know Justin Bieber lyrics over real basketball players. Apparently, Stanley, who has been a consummate team player despite being maltreated here, didn't stand during a timeout, presumably b/c he didn't play. It is the F'ing NIT! The epitome of Loserville, due to Christopher and Steal. Steal didn;t even play him one minute, despite Scruggs and others floundering. I hope this program implodes, Steele and Christopher get their walking papers and X makes a glorious return. Why? Because Travis Steal is an ASS!

If there was ever a game we needed Stanley to play is was last night. Jones was getting pushed around while guarding the 4 and we got out rebounded. AK nearly got a flagrant for trying to trip the shooter, brilliant. I hope Jones plays better defense if he wants to start for Georgia next year. Sounds like Freemantle wants to leave but not sure he will get the minutes he does now at another school. Bravo to steal for leaving Nunge on the bench for a nine min span in second half.
