Suggestion

Postby edgecliff hall » Wed Mar 09, 2022 11:39 pm

The players should set up a meeting with the President of Xavier in which they explain their experiences with the current head coach. Mr. Edwards ought to lead that parade. At first I thought the players should have a lawyer with them to explain the concept of professional malpractice, but realized that it would not be necessary since the President of Xavier, Dr. Colleen Hanycz, is herself a lawyer who has been quoted as saying: "I am a keen student of college basketball."

You do not have to go to all that trouble if you're a player these days. You just hit the transfer portal.

While current players might have a voice in the coaching situation, they should not be the only voice or the most important voice. Except in the case of a pandemic (sarcasm here) the players are only there for a maximum of four years. A good coach will hopefully be at the school for much longer than that.

Edgecliff,

Will you still stop setting the bar so high on your posts? I will not even try to top it.
