Zach needs to quit complaining to the refs on every single call that and his poor interior defense will not bode well in BE. KyKy looked disinterested and a step slow. The big for Morehead was too much for Zach.
i think we all know that most other team's 5's are going to be a tough matchup for Zach. that's mainly because he's a 4. he's going to have to play some 5 sometimes and that just means our help D/doubling the post will have to adjust when he's our 5. that big for MSU is a STUD. Nunge should be able to guard any 5 that we go up against minus maybe Watson who I think is the best big in the BE and is almost unguardable if he catches it down low. the guy is a monster. i don't think any team in the league has a matchup with him where they are gonna feel comfortable.

against MSU, if we were gonna tell Zach to front that guy and make them lob it, then either A. help side has to be there or B. you gotta get out on the wings and pressure more so they CAN'T lob it. pick your poison depending on which option you choose.

Zach can’t guard at the four either or box out, however I think the addition of Hunter will really help on defensive end at four.

the best stat of the game 25 assists on 29 made field goals.
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

Zach has a way better chance at guarding 5s than 4s. He is too slow. It isn't lack of size that is the problem. Technically, he isn't truly too slow but doesn't want it enough or doesn't know what to expect and therefore is rarely in position.

Zach is very overrated. He has great offensive skills but needs to be used as an instant offense type player to spark the offense. Playing him extended minutes can quickly offset his offensive benefit with a huge defensive liability. 20 minute playing time cap should be the rule but exceptions should be made in a game by game basis. Nunge is the real deal. He needs to be in the lineup as much as possible. Miles deserves minutes but should be on a tight leash. His offense is limited but is a good rim protector and a change of pace defender.

Zach can get some minutes at 4 but he can't defend there. Might make sense to extend his minutes when the opposing team has an offensively challenged 4 or 5 and put Zach on him. Otherwise Hunter is the better player with the exception of when he is hoisting 3s.
