Yeah, you can point to individual possessions where the D broke down but overall this team is playing tough D and the numbers are there to prove it.

I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

I have been pleasantly surprised with the defense. It has been a very long time since X has been a legit defensive team.
There have been lapses as you mentioned but for the most part, they are applying pressure and limiting open/easy buckets. Hopefully the lapses become less and less frequent. This team is capable of defending at an elite level.
