Cincy man makes good
That good/great coach was right in Cincinnati's back yard. ?? Mick Cronin was born in Cincinnati, attended a Cincinnati High School, graduated from Univ. of Cincinnati, coached within OHIO, made $2 million a year at UC and now $4 million a year at UCLA. Was coach of the year in 2020 in the Pac 12 and now has UCLA in the Final Four. The Cincinnati Kid made good...real good. He probably can expect a raise from UCLA and maybe Coach of the Year soon??? The city of Cincinnati should be proud of one of its own making good.

Agreed but its hard! Its hard if you went to a GCL school to cheer for a rival from an opposing GCL school!

Maybe this will make you feel better???? The leading player /scorer for UCLA went to Kentucky and Calipari....left them and went to UCLA to now lead them to the Final Four and Calipari missed March Madness all together. The highest paid coaches , Calipari and Coach K of Duke did NOT even make it in to March Madness. College Basketball is changing due to the "Portal".. ..players leave immediately when not happy. Staying 3 to 4 years at any college basketball program is no longer a priority for college basketball players.

He appears now as ever to be a boorish, bullying, opportunist with principles malleable depending upon his perception of the value of a player to his team. He is a little man in stature and character. His team's success does not a scintilla of difference make.

You could not be more correct. In typical fashion, when interview after the Elite Eight game, the first thing he said was "I taught these guys to win."Musketeer1 wrote: ↑Fri Apr 02, 2021 1:27 pmHe appears now as ever to be a boorish, bullying, opportunist with principles malleable depending upon his perception of the value of a player to his team.
