Very good story on Val Ackerman in XavierHoops. XU is most fortunate to be in her BIG EAST.

I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

Good article. My only concern is potentially sub-letting some TV games to the NY cable company. Part of what has made the BE so great is being table to see I every game on tv. Even when I travel I can find a place to see the game. However I doubt a lot of us (especially the Midwest schools) can get the NY Cable outlet. Not good.

I can readily remember going to o'callaghan's pub or Mother Hubbard's to be able to view any game. I had a speaking engagement recently in New Haven, Conn. The people there seemed more concerned about the negative to football than the positive to basketball.
