BE was crap in NCAA and NIT. Only two teams left are X and Nova. The more things change the more they stay the same

Re: BE in 2019 NCAA Tournament
I remember we said the same thing when we were in the A-10 and UC was in the Big East. The Big East would send 6/7/8 teams and 3/4 were out in the first round. Marquette and Seton Hall are disappointments and Villanova is down this year (but they have the best coach). There are a good deal of young teams in the East-Xavier included. I think it will be much better next year.
The other aspect, though, is there are many good shooters on the mid major teams. The 3's make a difference. No longer are the bigger, physical Huggin's and Georgetown teams dominant. Great to see the likes of Wofford and Murray and Belmont and Buffalo being factors. Hopefully, one or two of our incoming recruits are consistent shooters that will fit in well with our slashers.

great point Lead G. It's all about the shooting, provided these smaller schools can play some sort of effective defense. X lacked shooters all year. Which would not have been such a burden if a few of our players actually realized 3pt shooting was not their forte..... As long as X plays with a common IQ, we can compete. You watch Wofford last eve, in crunch time they got shots, within rhythm, from their best shooters, from spots on the floor where those players were comfortable with. Sounds easy doesn't it......

Thank goodness.
BE in the NCAA - 1-4.
Pretty pathetic.
Of course, they will company with the Big 12 if UVA beats Oklahoma and Buffalo can upset Texas Tech

Creighton plays in the NIT on Tuesday against either Nebraska or TCU, who play today. I sure hope it's Nebraska.
Mark Twain was wrong. Golf is NOT a good walk spoiled. It is a shared personal experience in a majestic wonderland guided by God, whose name is called frequently during the round.

And if it is Nebraska, it's a home game for Creighton.Theology73 wrote: ↑Sun Mar 24, 2019 12:15 pmCreighton plays in the NIT on Tuesday against either Nebraska or TCU, who play today. I sure hope it's Nebraska.
