Chance to see a team practice
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

Re: Chance to see a team practice
I went to the practice (a few hundred people attended) and I can see why the coaches are happy with Hankins. He maybe one of the fastest players on the team. As a team they seem to have good overall speed. The coaches really ran them a lot. Focus seemed to be heavy on defense. It is too early to get a feel for will be "the man" but they all worked hard and seemed to play together. Go Xavier!

Mman,
I know you went. Any OBJECTIVE observations? I'm especially interested in Welage, who is on paper is the best shooter on the team. Insiders have said he is struggling to find his shot. With the number of slashers X has in Goodin, Scruggs, and Marshall, he should have a lot of open looks.
