Re: Possible new assistants...
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

How about someone who has a top star recruit ready to follow him wherever said person lands as a coach. This stuff happens. Former players choice would be Byron Larkin

Brandon Cole was always a favorite of mine. Tough dude. Might be a good mentor for the big guys. Wasn't afraid of anyone including David West. He could work with Basketball Jones. Jones is going to have to play a lot of minutes next year and needs to get in better shape and maybe drop about 10 lbs. I love Jones but he needs to play about 25 to 30 minutes a game. Jones could stand to have a couple Posts moves too. Cole brings that hard mentality that I am sure would rub off on the team. He wasn't a guy who looked to get bailed out by the refs. I would like if he gets a chance.

How about an assistant coach at an existing east coast school or Chicago area. Someone with a background in defense. I know, such a novel idea....

I'm pretty sure that option has been made available to him since the Prosser days.xu koop scoop wrote: ↑Mon Apr 02, 2018 8:24 pmHow about someone who has a top star recruit ready to follow him wherever said person lands as a coach. This stuff happens. Former players choice would be Byron Larkin

In today’s Enquirer on line article about the D-II transfer, there is mention of Steele tweeting a picture of himself w David West after a GSW game in Indianapolis. Could he be recruiting DW as big man coach ? (Apologize fo not posting link but I can’t seem to do that on IPad.)Kevin Reilly wrote: ↑Mon Apr 02, 2018 9:12 pmBrandon Cole was always a favorite of mine. Tough dude. Gaudio would have been nice to bring back.
Brian Thornton, Greg Paulus, and Monte Mathis will hopefully get a look.

wonder what Dave West and Travis talked about in INDY last night!
