Hops, your 'sources' have always seemed fairly tried & true. Is it too early or any word on status of assistants? I read ESPN article and no mention. Very possible that these details are indeed still not officially released...
I've seen multiple things saying pegues and Murray are gone. Steele was conspicuously left off the list.

I have been through many Xavier coaches, so good, some bad, some awful. Chris shows one thing to the fan base and that is we have not found a coach that thinks Xavier is the place to hang their hat for good. The thing I think I will regret is not the loss of Chris but the uncertainty a new coach brings. We have not seen the aptitude of Christopher in hiring a coach. We know he could not keep one but we can say that about all our ADs. I guess the big question is where the administration wants to take the program. Can they find that coach that will stay long enough to reach that dream or will we get a short timer looking to make this a stop over. I am sure there are a number of the posters that will not have Chris to throw around anymore but don't worry the next coach will not be perfect so keep your knives sharp.
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

Losing the transfer Evan Boudreaux as well. He is going to reopen his option. So I guess it’s possible he still chooses X, but much less likely now.

Going to take Steele (or whoever) longer to get us to where we want to be. With the class we have coming in and if EB doesn't transfer in, I have a hard time believing our next class will be a home run, so that's two years behind the rest of the BE. Can you say DePaul?
