Back to Matta and UGA job.

I think he is just complying with the terms of his buyout agreement in that he is "looking" for work.
I've heard that is also in line for a job as a latex salesman at Vandelay Industries.
Guess it's down to him and some guy that lives in NYC.

Matta turns down the UGA job.
Not a surprise.
He has already done that dance before - playing 2nd fiddle to the football program.

They are not going to get the death penalty. An early X and Mack will be gone according to many. Hope that isn’t the case since Ice is now my dawg.
I agree with this - no way they receive the death penalty.
NCAA frankly is too incompetent and impotent to do any more that what they did - strip U of L of their title. Which is a retarded punishment, IMO.
You can't undo history.
And FBI's recent track record has not exactly been stellar.
The combination of the FBI and NCAA and their ability or lack of to provide the leadership needed reminds of a quote from Bobby Knight from the book - Season on the Brink - complaining about Steve Alford's lack of leadership.
"I don't think you could lead a whore to bed."

Worse case for U of L - probation and loss of some scholarships.
