Xavier2005 - If Xavier COULD OFFER 2 TO 3 MILLION why would they not make that offer to Mack. On Xavier's web site they list Mack as the Sedler Family mens basketball coach and that tells me that they stepped up on his last contract. It troubles me that he is NOT listed as Xavier's mens coach. If Xavier has to reach out to donors for money to pay a coach I doubt it has the where with all to pay anyone 2 to 3 million for a coach. So, to me it would that we would have to take a chance at a coach at a lower level and HOPE it works out. Go Xavier!

I think coaches being named with donors names is common. Both Harbaugh and Beilein at Michigan are *insert donor’s name* family coach, and I have little doubt Michigan could just open up its own bank to pay a coach. That being said, I don’t know if Xavier has enough alumni willing to fork over loads of cash to cover whatever the difference is.

What is the deal with Elias Harden? I thought he was supposed to be a good shooter and also understand this was a really talented team and playing time is hard to come by. Does anyone know if he is expected to have a big year next year or are people a little down on him.
