Byron didn't shoot many three pointers because it wasn't until his Junior year that he could. Think about what he could have scored if he had had the three-point shot for all four years and perfected it to some extent

You are correct, but on the other hand Byron didn't shoot a lot of shots from three point land anyway. He was a mid-range shooter.
