Didn't St Johns beat the 'Cuse by 33? And DePaul lose to Chicago State or Chicago-Illinois or something like that?
What in the wide wide world of sports is going on here??

It was UIC. Figure it out!

Add to that a home loss to Rutgers, along with squeaking by with home wins over "powerhouses" Missouri State (68-66), Drake (77-75) and Southeast Missouri State (81-78). In each case DePaul trailed by double-digits and the BE home whistle assisted down the stretch. Missouri State extracted revenge, 69-58, on a neutral court in Las Vegas. Northwestern had DePaul down 54-18 at the half in Evanston.

Can one surmise that Coach Wright may have given cursory attention to DePaul and had the Wildcats already preparing for Saturday's game against Creighton?
