Carolina is all but out of the race for Stewart. They are going after Cheek, McDonald, Wall first, and they don't miss on many of their targets.

Out of all these guys it looks like we are in the best shape for Stewart, and he is the most highly touted. Curious as well, what is the connection to Georgia? We are recruiting like 5 players from the state.

I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

Stewart sort of seems like a kid that might not want to stay around for 4 years if he is that good. Any thoughts Stan?

Joe, from the stories I've read and from a few e-mails I've sent to some higher opinions, all sources indicate Ari's (pronounce AIR-E) parents are very involved in his recruiting and want their son to get a good education. He seems pretty articulate in his interviews as well. Obviously Xavier should fit the bill.

If we do land this kid I could see him possibly leaving at some point but he won't be our version of Beasley or Mayo if thats what your thinking. He reminds me a lot of James Posey with a better jump shot. He's about as polished as you can be for a 17 year old, and certainly has room for improvement. And again, I really do like his chances of becoming a muskie.
