I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

Can't help to think how viable the path was for X to meet Nova in this game. It really was.

Agree..X's bigs could have rebounded with UNC's bigs in IMO and X had better 3 point shoots than UNC. One of the worst 3 point shooting teams in the countrytjxu97 wrote:Can't help to think how viable the path was for X to meet Nova in this game. It really was.
Unfortunately UNC is shooting 5-7 from 3 so far tonight.

Just desserts for "Ol Roy". Cheaters should not win but sometimes do.
Tonight the good guys won and the cheaters lost. Good.

Wonder if ESPN will play Requiem for the Big East?

Ed, you are way too funny. I couldn't think of that. Nova winning it all is not too shabby for a "mid-major conference".muskieman wrote:Wonder if ESPN will play Requiem for the Big East?

Re: Odds on national title game and a look at Nova and NC
If I am NC in that last 4.7 seconds I'm putting a big man on the inbounder to make it difficult to inbounds & I at least
put a guy on the inbounder after he gets it in. Roy Williams got outcoached in those last 4.7 seconds.
Guess he wasn't counting on a low pct shot going in. His player though had just made a low pct shot.
Thank you Roy for Nova joy.
