why is brian grant's jersey not retired? i thought he was among the greatest of all time at X!

He certainly had a great career.If you retire his jersey I would also retire Posey's.I'm not sure either of them had the impact that Larkin,Hill and West had on this program.Are either of them in the XU hall of fame yet?

While most posters here consider anything that happened prior to Coach Staak's arrival to be ancient history, I think that Steve Thomas' number should be on the wall.
Remember, he averaged 30 ppg in 63-64, torn up his knee in 64-65 and played in an era when freshman couldn't play and there wasn't a 3-pointer. The three point shot would have raised his per game average by 4 to 5 points.
And he wasn't a "pathological shooter", as Pete Gillen described another top scorer.
