Both AP and Coaches have X at #8. Keep winning guys
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

just going to enjoy every moment of Xavier basketball this year, win or lose. Sean has these dudes playing to their potential but also knows they can get better. that's the great thing. we may be at #8 in the rankings but we haven't even peaked yet. saw some sprinkling in of zone but would morph to man halfway through the possession. little tweaks at different moments to help this team with their defensive deficiencies (yes, we know they struggle to defend, Hops).

but seriously, how fun is this team to watch? the G-town game already sold out with standing room only tickets and they are TERRIBLE.

let's get behind these boys and enjoy the ride.

They are fun to watch. A loss was going to happen at some point. Hopefully Sean can use it to refocus the team. The sloppy first half tends to give opponents a chance at winning. Until DePaul, X was able to overcome the first half with a strong 2nd in league play.

I need to rewatch the DePaul game as I was at a work event and drinks were flowing but shot selection had been slightly deteriorating over the past couple games and seemed to possibly be worse against DePaul. This team is not especially athletic. They need ball movement and smart shot selection to be great. Without proper shot selection their offensive efficiency will deteriorate, allowing the defensive issues to result in losses.

Still a huge improvement from the recent past (prior years) where shot selection and defense were both unwatchable. Let's quickly get back to sharing the ball and playing within the flow of the offense as it is a beautiful thing to watch.
