The season hasn't started yet, so it is a little too early for me to judge where we are. Not being in the Top 40 now is pure conjecture from the pundits. We have been there before and proven them all wrong.

I'm calling bullsh*t on this one. Are you telling me you ripped Skip when he missed the NCAA 3x's in 7 years, and won only one NCAA tourney game in those 7 years? Or when he was bringing in guys who never got off the bench, much less were productive players?

Is ANY coach beyond criticism? No, but you judge a coach just like you judge anyone else----on their overall body of work. So, Mack's gone S16, 1st round, S16, no tourney. That may not be Wooden level, but it ain't bad, either, and last year was almost a perfect storm of things going wrong, virtually all of which were out of his hands.

Let them get their precieved shots in, while they can. They have unresolved resentments. It is too bad they still suffer from those, at their age.
I think X has a great core of guys. Some, like Reynolds and Davis, attended X on their own dime to play for this staff. These guys don't care what the Woods was or what he thinks. They're here to Win for X! So, 15 wins? At least say why. Then there might be some discussion instead of 'so called' assumptions.

The evolution of the program is why the current coach, regardless of who he is, is (or should be)open to criticism for things like not making the tournament and not being in the top 40. Please join us in the 21st century on this Mr. N.

We are limping into this new, bigger, better conference. 5 years ago we would have thought, wow, the sky's the limit. Now it's-be careful what you wish for. Time will tell. Over/under still 15.
