0-5 from the 3s last year. FTM 101 FTA 155 (you do the math)

For gary, he scored 19 against Seton Hall and 20 against Rutgers.
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

mm, we can only thank heavens that CJ wasn't the #1 option at X. We all saw how much trouble he had scoring his senior year. If he was designated as, or tried to be, "the man", we would have been in huge trouble.

of course we will never know but that is pure speculation on your part based on what he did when not the #1 option.

If he couldn't get to the basket, routinely got his shot blocked or ball taken away as the #3 option, I fail to see how he would have had any more success with even MORE defensive focus on him. As I said, I love CJ's heart and toughness, but his senior year was a big, big disappointment.

I hoping he is more like CJ Anderson and less like Andrew Taylor. Anyone know what D2 school Wlash will be playing for?

I have to agree with Neutral on this one. It is possible that CJ had an outside shot and just never used it but his FT shooting indicates that is probably not the case. Without an outside shot CJ could never have been a dominant scorer at X without shooting around 20%. He was too short to drive to the bucket everytime, especially if he was the number 1 option.

Taylor seems to be a good pick-up. I suspect after sitting out a year he will come in and contribute 7 to 12 points and 6 to 9 rebounds. Those would be very good numbers as long as TOs are not an issue. He could surprise to the upside with the decrease in double teams and another year learning organized basketball but I'd be content with the above numbers and a reasonable TO rate.
