Didn't miss it at all Shadow. My comment was my observation in the form of a question. I didn't aim it at you.
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

If Xavier ever stooped to Calipari's level, it would be a sad day. When that Wiggins kid who signed with Kansas indicated he did not want to be bothered with summer school, didn't that speak to the student-athlete academic fraud so prevalent in college? Of course, you can be a Heisman trophy winner attend the Superbowl, Mardi Gras, etc. and take four on-line course dealing with sports. Someone has pointed out that baseball does fine with a minor league system,. so it has; and the college baseball world series still exhibits some fine baseball. Let Wiggins and those at UK go play minor league basketball other than in the NCAA.

Win at all costs. Just win.muskieman wrote:while he might have success, how does a fanbase come to know a player if they are in an out the door in a year?Shadow wrote:Calipari has all 5 positions covered in the top 17.

According to ESPN's top 100 2013 list,
new Big East has 9 recruits.
Wish I had time to break more down with other leagues. I assume ACC and SEC have a lot more.

God forbid you two disagree. It would be as miraculous as thinking that perhaps the Bible isn't 100% based on fact.muskieman wrote:shadow and I don;t fight. you on the other hand...skyhops wrote:Guys, please don't fight. We are all in this together.

I don't know if we can take the moral high ground on this one, considering: the number of ineligible players we've had recently, the 2 decommits in Chandler and Thomas (who were sitting on the wrong end of the eligibility fence), and our long flirtation with that 33 year old pf from Washington, who thankfully went to Rutgers (?).

If I counted right - SEC had 19 with UK with 6 of top 25xukeith wrote:According to ESPN's top 100 2013 list,

And ACC had 18...thanks to the newbies - U of L, Syracuse, Pitt along w/ Duke.
Kansas was almost as impressive as UK w/ 5 and Memphis had 4.
