Muskie Women Fall to Dayton

Sophomore forward Amber Harris tallied the 23rd double-double of her career and freshman center Ta’Shia Phillips established a new single-season rebounding record but it was not enough as the Xavier University women’s basketball team fell, 68-58, to Dayton on Wednesday evening at Cintas Center. With the loss, Xavier slips to 20-8 on the year and 10-3 in Atlantic 10 play. Dayton improves to 22-7, 8-5.
The Musketeers will play their last regular season game when they travel to Olean N.Y. to face the St. Bonaventure Bonnies on Sat. March 1. The game is set to start at 1:00 p.m.
