Lady Muskies Knock Off St. Joe's

Freshman standout Ta'Shia Phillips earned the tenth double-double of her career with 18 points and 13 rebounds while sophomore guard Amber Harris led the team in scoring with 19 as the Xavier University women's basketball team defeated Saint Joseph's, 71-53, on Saturday evening at Cintas Center. Xavier improves to 12-6 overall and 2-1 in the Atlantic 10. Saint Joseph's slips to 10-8 on the year, and 2-1 in the league.
Xavier will return to action Tuesday, January 22 when they take on the Duquesne Dukes in Pittsburgh. Game time is set for 7 p.m. and fans can follow the action live via internet radio broadcast on GOXAVIER.com.
