X Falls at UofL

Three-time Atlantic 10 All-Rookie selection Ta’Shia Phillips recorded her seventh double-double of the season with 13 points and tied her own school record with 20 rebounds but it was not enough as the Xavier University women’s basketball team dropped a 67-45 decision at Louisville on Sunday afternoon. With the loss, XU slips to 5-4 on the year while the Cardinals improve to 5-2. Junior guard Jerri Taylor was the only other Musketeer in double-figures scoring with 19 points.
Xavier will be back in action on Sunday, December 16 when the team returns home to take on East Tennessee. Game time is set for 2 p.m. at Cintas Center.
