Phillips Leads X Past Valpo

Freshman Ta’Shia Phillips recorded game-highs with 25 points and 12 rebounds to lead the Xavier University women’s basketball team past Valparaiso, 64-53, on Sunday afternoon at Cintas Center. With the win, Xavier improves to 2-1 on the year while Valpo slips to 0-4.
XU returns to the hardwood on Friday, November 23 as they kick off the National City Invitational at Cintas Center against Houston. Game time is set for 8 p.m.
