Muskie Women Down SBU to Remain Perfect in A-10

The inside-out combination of Ta’Shia Phillips and Special Jennings combined to score 32 points to lead the No. 11/10 Xavier University women’s basketball team over St. Bonaventure, 62-53, on Saturday afternoon in Olean, N.Y. With the win, the Musketeers improve to 14-3 on the season and 4-0 in Atlantic 10 play. SBU slips to 14-6, 2-3.
XU will return to action on Wednesday, January 27 when the team heads to Kingston to take on Rhode Island. Game time is set for 7 p.m. at the Ryan Center.
