XU Women Zip Past Temple

Amber Harris and Tyeasha Moss each scored 20 points and Ta'Shia Phillips added 17 to lead the No. 16/14 Xavier University women's basketball team past Temple, 82-69, on Sunday afternoon at Cintas Center. With the win, the Musketeers improve to 11-3 on the year while Temple slips to 10-5. Sunday's contest was the Atlantic 10 Conference opener for both squads.
The Musketeers are back in action on Saturday, January 16 when the team travels to Philadelphia to take on La Salle. Game time is set for 1 p.m. at Tom Gola Arena.
