Lady Musketeers Blow Out Austin Peay

Junior star Ta'Shia Phillips boasted her seventh double-double of the season as the No. 15/13 Xavier women's basketball team defeated Austin Peay State University, 87-41, on Wednesday afternoon. The win brings Xavier's record to 9-2 while Austin Peay falls to 4-9. Phillips' double-double came on 20 points and 10 rebounds and is her third in a row. Her 20 points came on 8-of-13 shooting from the field and 4-of-4 from free throw range.
Xavier returns to the court on Wednesday, December 30 when the team plays host to nationally-ranked Louisiana State University at the Cintas Center. Game time is set for 7 p.m.
