Lady Muskies Knock Back Middle Tenn

Junior center Ta’Shia Phillips scored 20 points and hauled in 20 rebounds to lead the No. 9/10 Xavier University women’s basketball team past Middle Tennessee by an 80-63 score on Thursday evening at Cintas Center in Cincinnati. With the win, the Musketeers improve to a perfect 6-0 on the season while the Blue Raiders slipped to 3-3.
The Musketeers are back in action on Sunday, December 6 when the team welcomes rival Cincinnati to Cintas Center in the 2009 Skyline Chili Crosstown Shootout. Game time is set for 2 p.m.
