XU Women Defeat No. 14 ASU

Frontcourt mates Amber Harris and Ta'Shia Phillips each recorded double-doubles to lead the No. 9/14 Xavier University women's basketball team to a hard-fought 59-46 victory over No. 14/7 Arizona State on Saturday afternoon at Cintas Center. With the win, Xavier improves to 2-0 on the young season, while ASU slips to 2-1.
XU is back in action on Monday, November 23 when the team takes on Mississippi Valley State. Game time is set for 7 p.m. at Cintas Center.
