Lady Muskies Lose to No. 17 GW

Sophomore forward Amber Harris scored a game-high 18 points to go along with eight boards but it was not enough as the Xavier University women's basketball team dropped a 56-46 decision to No. 17 George Washington on Sunday evening at the Smith Center in our nation's capital. Harris' 18 came on 7-of-20 shooting and she also recorded two steals in 37 minutes of action.
Xavier returns to action on Wednesday, January 16 when the team welcomes Richmond to the Queen City . Game time is set for 5 p.m. at Cintas Center .
